Initial Customer, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Demonstrates Early Success with Advanced Change-page Publishing Solution for Complex Military Technical Documentation

ORLANDO , Florida , May 17, 2005 – Astoria Software today announced Astoria Change Page Pro 05, a powerful new change page solution for ‘loose-leaf’ publishing. Developed to update and publish the most critical and complex documentation, Astoria Change Page Pro 05 is being used by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, a leader in the design, development, systems integration, production and support of advanced military aircraft and related technologies. For loose-leaf or change-page publishing, Astoria's Change Page Pro 05 is an XML content management and loose-leaf publishing system that breaks new ground. It delivers the finest precision to changing content by its elemental-level of content reuse with no minimal revisable unit, as well as state-of-the art content differencing for automated updates to content, structure, and document attributes. What was previously a hard, long, and complex manual task prone to errors and delays is now significantly automated.

Astoria ’s Change Page Pro 05 is revolutionary in that it easily accommodates multiple document types with arbitrary DTD support unmatched by others. In addition, it includes an integrated workflow unique to the change-page publishing process for the control of review and approval cycles, and advanced composition features with automated pagination, point-page generation, and front and back-end content to automatically publish just the changed content packets.
