"There have been a number of significant shifts in both content management technology and the content management industry since the last time this group met. For example, SaaS as a delivery model has become more widely accepted as a delivery mechanism; object-oriented technology is becoming more established as a CMS solution, as evidenced by EMC's acquisition of X-Hive earlier this year; and the industry is also consolidating very rapidly."
